BLACK POSITIVITY IN THE TIMES OF RECESSION
With a positive strategy in mind, Comme des Garçons is launching a new black collection in my absolute favorite store Dover Street Market! Rei Kawabuko is using key words as accessibility, personality, temporary, iconic, energy, cool, positive and good looking. The collection contains only black items, concentrated on popular CdG styles which will be sold in large volumes in small temporary spaces between 25-40 square metres. Seems as a reaction against the luxury retail expansions of the recent years. The London shop is opening tomorrow!
